Research opportunities:
In the Novel Materials group are several opportunities for research activities, at present comprising:
- quantum transport in semiconductor nanostructures
- thermoelectric properties of nanostructures
- spin-dependent transport in hybrid nanoelectronic devices.
Prerequisites are an outstanding degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Material Science with a final thesis (Master/Diploma) based on an experimental research area of Solid State Physics/Nanoelectronics or Nanomaterials and excellent references. Good knowledge of german language or the interest in learning german is favorable.
