Humboldt Center for Modern Optics
HZMO is a common initiative of the Humboldt University and its non-university partners. The goal is the coordination of activities in the field of Modern Optics at the Science Location Adlershof. By means of the optical methodology, integrative research and teaching projects are to be elaborated. The unique properties of light are utilized for the elucidation of the fundamental processes in physical, chemical, and biological systems. The new knowledge will enable the development of novel applications in optical technologies.
