Welcome to the AG Nanooptik

The main topic of our experimental research is the light-matter interaction on a nanoscale. The activities cover both fundamental research as well as more applied physics. Generally speaking, the former aims at the precise investigation of well controllable isolated optical (quantum) systems in order to understand and possibly tame their interactions with each other. The latter intends to realize model systems which may be regarded as first implementations of future quantum technology devices. more
