Research

 

The main topic of our experimental research is light-matter interaction on the nanoscale. We focus on the realization and investigation of model-systems where we hope to achieve almost ideal parameter control in order to study (quantum) optical effects in detail. These model systems may also be regarded as a the first step in a bottom-up strategy to build quantum nanofunctional devices.
