Advanced Micro-Resonators AdMiRe
The goal of this project is to establish a technology platform based on micro-integrated optical resonators of high quality factor. The resonators will be realized as on-chip SiO2 microdisks or microtoroidal resonators with integrated waveguides as efficient light couplers. We will demonstrate the potential of these resonators for sensing, analytical science, laser stabilization as well as telecommunication. Numerical simulations, design, fabrication, and testing will be performed.
