I am analyzing the multivalent effect on supramolecular compounds such as metal bridged pyridine coordination compounds, tetralactam macrocycles and pyridine-bridged gold nanoparticles. My aim is a deeper understanding of the multivalent effect on the level of single molecules.
(Area C3 of SFB765: "Multivalency as chemical organisation and action principle: New architectures, functions and applications.")
Besides I am interested in the aggregation behaviour of Aβ42 peptides and its derivatives.
