Postdoctorial Position
A postdoctorial position for the optical spectroscopy of novel inorganic/organic semiconductor hybrid structures for opto-electronic and photonic applications is available in the Photonics Group of the Physics Department at the Humboldt University Berlin, Germany. The research will focus on the investigation of charge and energy transfer processes in different geometries (including microcavities) by using various spectroscopic techniques, also with high time and spatial resolution and in external fields. The work is embedded in the Collaborative Research Centre (SFB) 951 (HIOS). For more information see http://www.physik.hu-berlin.de/sfb951 . It is expected that the applicant should have a Ph.D in physics or a closely related field. The applicant should also have demonstrated experience in the optical spectroscopy of inorganic and/or organic materials and nanostructures. She/he should be familiar with the fundamental concepts of the linear and nonlinear optical properties of these systems and have a good background knowledge about opto-electronic and photonic devices. Aufgabengebiet:
Wiss. Dienstleistungen in der Forschung zu Grundfragen von anorganischen/
organischen Hybridsystemen sowie inhaltliche Koordination des SFB 951, insb. inhaltliche
Abstimmung mit dem Sprecher, mit dem Ziel der Optimierung wiss. und administrativer
Abläufe, Entwicklung von Konzepten und Arbeitsmaterialien sowie Durchführung von
Veranstaltungen für den SFB, auch im Bereich Öffentlichkeitsarbeit; Evaluation und Anpassung
der Konzepte während der Laufzeit; Einwerbung von Drittmitteln (Fortsetzungsantrag)
Anforderungen:
Abgeschlossenes wiss. Hochschulstudium in Physik oder Chemie (mit mögl.
überdurchschnittl. Abschluss), Promotion, Schwerpunktbildung im Themenspektrum des SFB
(http://www.physik.hu-berlin.de/sfb951); ausgezeichnete Kenntnisse der Universitätslandschaft;
Kompetenz in der Koordination und Leitung interdisziplinärer Forschung; Kenntnisse
im Haushaltsrecht; Erfahrungen in der Akquisition von Drittmitteln; gängige IT-Kenntnisse;
sehr gute Englischkenntnisse; Kommunikations- und Vernetzungsfähigkeiten;
soziale Kompetenz
und Dialogbereitschaft; zeitliche Flexibilität und Belastbarkeit
