| In the week of 25-29 August the IRIS Adlershof groups of Prof. Plefka and Prof. Staudacher will host the 42nd edition of the Ahrenshoop Symposium on the Theory of Elementary Particles in Berlin-Schmöckwitz. The meeting brings together 40 leading international scientist to discuss recent developments in the field of quantum field and string theory in an inspiring atmosphere in the south-east of Berlin. The meeting fosters the exchange of ideas and will trigger new collaborations. This conference series has a long tradition that reaches back to 1965. Now, the conference is held once every two years and co-organized with the Max-Planck-Instiute for Gravitational Physics and the University of Hamburg. | ||
