Prof. Gregory D. Scholes, Ph.D., of the Department of Chemistry, Princeton University, USA, will give a talk about:

Probing Ultrafast Chemical Dynamics Inspired by the Rhythms of Fireflies.

After a short coffee break, Dr. Julia Stähler of the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society, Berlin, PI of the CRC 951 (Project B9) will give a talk about:

Ultrafast quasiparticle dynamics in ZnO and at its interface with an organic chromophore.
