Research opportunities:

 In the Novel Materials group are several opportunities for research activities.
Present openings include:
- 2 PhD positions

Prerequisites for successful applications are an outstanding degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Material Science with a final thesis (Master/Diploma) based on an experimental research area of Solid State Physics/Nanoelectronics or Nanomaterials and excellent references. Good knowledge of german language or the interest in learning german is favourable.

Research fellow with part-time employment (50%) - E 13 TV-L HU (short term for 4 years)
 
Job description: Scientific services in research, especially fabrication and characterization of nano and quantum structures, Design and setup of experiments for charge transport in the Group "Novel Materials", to contribute to scientific exchange with national and international research cooperation partners, tasks to pursue your own scientific qualification
 
Required: Excellent university degree in physics with very good marks in physics, materials sciences or electrical engineering with specialization in solid-state physics, knowledge in semiconductor physics and technology, you have experience in fabrication and characterization of thin semiconductor films, very good skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), excellent English language skills, spoken and written, you appreciate working systematically very accurately, and act independently; you are a team player and aim to collaborate.
