Sebastian obtained his diploma and PhD in the group of Stephanie Reich at Freie Universität Berlin. After PostDocs at the University of Manchester with Aravind Vijayaraghavan, ETH Zürich with Lukas Novotny, and Freie Universität Berlin with Kirill Bolotin, he started his Junior Research Group at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in 2021. Sebastian is interested in studying low-dimensional solid-state systems with optical spectroscopy.

Pablo did his Bachelor in Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain. He moved to Berlin in his last year of Bachelor. He studied his Master of Science at the Freie Universität of Berlin, writing his Master thesis on strain engineering of TMDs in the research group of Prof. Kirill Bolotin. Currently he is a member of the Graduate School "Advanced Materials".

Johannes completed Bachelors in Chemistry and Physics at Technical University of Munich and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. He continued his studies with a Master in Physics at LMU Munich, writing his thesis on hybrid plasmonic nanostructures under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Maier. Currently he is a member of the Graduate School "Advanced Materials".

Lala obtained her Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering at the ASOIU in Azerbaijan. She then moved to Berlin to continue her studies with the Master of Science in Polymer Science at the joined program of the Humboldt University of Berlin, Free University of Berlin, Technical University of Berlin, and the University of Potsdam. She wrote her Master's thesis on the wetting of mica-graphene slit pores with heavy water in the group of Prof. Dr. Jürgen P. Rabe. Currently she is a member of the AdMaLab program in INAM

Giorgia Marcelli enrolled at Sapienza University of Rome to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Physics. She continued her studies in Berlin to pursue an M.Sc. (Physics) at Freie Universität. During the course of her master’s thesis, she worked within the group of Biological Physics  - lead by Prof. Dr. Carsten Beta (Potsdam Universität) - focusing on non linear dynamics and statistical physics of active matter. Currently she is a member of the AdMaLab program in INAM

Getúlio did his Bachelor in Nanotechnology with an emphasis in Physics at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Currently he studies his Master of Science in Optical Sciences at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
