Sebastian obtained his diploma and PhD in the group of Stephanie Reich at Freie Universität Berlin. After PostDocs at the University of Manchester with Aravind Vijayaraghavan, ETH Zürich with Lukas Novotny, and Freie Universität Berlin with Kirill Bolotin, he started his Junior Research Group at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin in 2021. Sebastian is interested in studying low-dimensional solid-state systems with optical spectroscopy.

Pablo did his Bachelor in Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Spain. He moved to Berlin in his last year of Bachelor. He studied his Master of Science at the Freie Universität of Berlin, writing his Master thesis on strain engineering of TMDs in the research group of Prof. Kirill Bolotin. Currently his a member of the Graduate School "Advanced Materials".

Johannes completed Bachelors in Chemistry and Physics at Technical University of Munich and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. He continued his studies with a Master in Physics at LMU Munich, writing his thesis on hybrid plasmonic nanostructures under the supervision of Prof. Stefan Maier.

Getúlio did his Bachelor in Nanotechnology with an emphasis in Physics at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Currently he studies his Master of Science in Optical Sciences at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
