 IRIS-Adlershof lädt seine Mitglieder und Nachwuchswisenschaftler/innen zum ersten IRIS-Roots-Day ein. Im Rahmen einer kleinen IRIS Pitch-Competition erhalten bis zu zehn Nachwuchswissenschaftler/innen die Gelegenheit, ihr Forschungsprojekt in der Manier eines Science Slams in maximal fünf Minuten vorzustellen. Die drei besten Präsentationen werden prämiert. Als erster Preis winkt eine Reisebeihilfe, die dem Preisträger eine aktive Teilnahme an einer wissenschaftlichen Tagung ermöglichen soll. Die Zweit- und Drittplatzierten können sich über attraktive Sachpreise freuen. Darüber hinaus bieten wir den Preisträgern ein kostenfreies professionelles Pitch-Training für eine Teilnahme am Falling Walls Lab 2018 an. Beschließen wollen wir den Tag mit einem weihnachtlichen Get-Together bei Glühwein und einem kleinen Imbiss.

IRIS-Adlershof invites its members and junior scientists to the first IRIS-Roots-Day. Within a small IRIS pitch competition, up to ten young scientists will have the opportunity to present their research project in the manner of a science slam in a maximum of five minutes. The three best presentations will be awarded. The first prize is a travel grant, which will enable the winner to actively participate in a scientific conference. The winners of the second and third place can also look forward to attractive prizes. In addition, we are offering the winners a free professional pitch training for participation in the Falling Walls Lab 2018.
