The Einstein Telescope
Abstract
After the scientific breakthrough in detecting gravitational waves with LIGO and VIRGO, Europe is preparing for the next generation of detectors: the Einstein Telescope. This talk introduce the project, present the scientific perspectives and discuss some of the technological challenges.
