It is not often the case that quantum mechanics directly offers the solution of a problem to find out more about the properties of a quantum system. One such case, when the Schroedinger's Cat itself comes out of the box to help us, was spotted by Feynman in early 1980's.

Certain aspects of quantum systems are very difficult to study because the numerical effort involved scales exponentially with the system size when classical computers are used, the
so-called 'Sign Problem'.   Feynman's suggestion was to use quantum computers for this purpose.

Thanks to the rapid development in the field of quantum optics, certain special purpose quantum computers have been realized, mostly to address condensed matter systems. In this talk, we will take
inspiration from these developments and propose extending these novel methods into the regime of particle physics using the framework of the quantum link models.
