How to find us
Location
Our group is located in the new Department of Physics of the Humboldt University near the S-Bahn station Adlershof. Starting from the station, please follow the red line on the map below. The office rooms are in the physics building (Lise Meitner-Haus).

Arrival at Train Station Berlin Hauptbahnhof or Berlin Ostbahnhof
Buy a "Berlin AB Einzelfahrausweis"-ticket and don't forget to validate (entwerten) it.
Note that the "DB City Ticket" which may be included in your train ticket does not cover a trip to Adlershof.
From the main station you can either take the S9 (direction Flughafen (Airport) Schönefeld) and exit at Adlershof
or you will have to change trains at Ostkreuz: Take the
S5 (direction Strausberg Nord),
S7 (direction Ahrensfelde), or
S75 (direction Wartenberg).
At Ostkreuz, change to the
S8 (direction Grünau/Zeuthen) or
S85 (direction Grünau) and exit at Adlershof.
Follow the Rudower Chaussee as depicted on the map above (red line). The trip will take you about 30 minutes (from Ostbahnhof) or 40 minutes (from Hauptbahnhof).
Arrival at Train Station Berlin Südkreuz
Buy a "Berlin AB Einzelfahrausweis"-ticket and don't forget to validate (entwerten) it. Take the
S45 (direction Flughafen (Airport) Schönefeld) or
S46 (direction Königswusterhausen) and exit at Adlershof.
Follow the Rudower Chaussee as depicted on the map above (red line). The trip will take you about 25 minutes.
Arrival at Schönefeld Airport
There are two options:
1) S-Bahn: Buy a "Einzelfahrausweis Kurzstrecke"-ticket and don't forget to validate (entwerten) it. Take any S-Bahn at the S-Bahn station Flughafen Berlin-Schönefeld (S9 or S45). Exit at the station Adlershof. Follow the path depicted on the map above. The whole trip will take you about 25 minutes.
2) Bus to Adlershof: Take the Bus 164 (direction S Kaulsdorf) that is directly laeving from the Terminal. Buy a "Berlin BC Einzelfahrausweis"-ticket from the driver. Exit at Walther-Nernst-Straße. Follow the path depicted on the map above. The whole trip will take you about 30 minutes.
Arrival at Tegel Airport
Buy a "Berlin AB Einzelfahrausweis"-ticket and don't forget to validate (entwerten) it. Take the bus TXL (leaving directly in front of the airport building) and exit at the station Hauptbahnhof. Now, have a look at the instructions above. The whole trip will take you about 1 hour.
