Awarding of the "Lise-Meitner-Preis" and Farewell to the Graduates 2016

This year's festive event for awarding of the "Lise-Meitner-Preis" by the "Vereinigung der Freunde und Förderer des Instituts für Physik e.V." and the Farewell to the graduates of the Master's course in Physics 2015/16 took place in the "Christian-Gerthsen-Hörsaal" on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 4.15 pm.
Dr. Simon Birkholz received the "Lise-Meitner-Preis" in the category "Outstanding Dissertation". The "Lise-Meitner-Preis in the category "Outstanding Master Thesis" was awarded to Alexander Jahn and Marek Mandel. Tobias Faulstich and Steven Schulz received a "Lise-Meitner-Preis" for their Bachelor Thesis.
Prof. Marek Kowalski gave a lecture on "Neutrino-Astronomie: ein neues Fenster zum Kosmos".
