HIOS Symposium 2020

 

Symp2020

 

The symposium will focus on hybrid structures comprising inorganic semiconductors, conjugated organic materials, and metal nanostructures. Topics include structure and morphology, electronic structure and control of inorganic/organic interfaces, charge and energy transfer, hybrid optical excitations, plasmonic phenomena, and more. Invited talks will be presented by pertinent international experts and by members of the Collaborative Research Centre 951. Excellent networking opportunities and room for lively discussions will be provided during a poster session and a joint dinner, together with a taste of the technology park "Adlershof".

Participation in the symposium and the dinner is free of charge but registration is required. Travel and accommodation costs will be at the participants' expense. For registration, please send a short notice of intent including your name, institution, and contact information to

Also, please inform us if you plan to attend the symposium dinner.

The symposium will take place in the Department of Physics in the Gerthsen Lecture Hall:
Room 1'201, Newtonstraße 15, 12489 Berlin.

The symposium dinner will take place on Thursday, September 11th in the Forum Adlershof:
Rudower Chaussee 24, 12489 Berlin.
