Organic Molecular Beam Deposition

The OMBD (organic molecular beam deposition) laboratory is used for the growth of organic layers on inorganic substrates. This is done via evaporation of molecular materials in the metallic chambers. In order to achieve highest purity, we require ultra-high-vacuum conditions. A metallization chamber allows to evaporate contacts in situ. The sample can then be electrically characterized in the glovebox which is filled with nitrogen gas.
