Running Maple from scripts
In order to execute Maple commands from a script, run it in text mode and with the switch "-q" (quiet) and append the filename as an argument:
maple -q scriptfile
In non-interactive mode (e.g. in a batch script), you may have to extend PATH first. In addition, you may want to redirect or suppress standard output completely.
Example:
PATH=/usr/global/maple/bin:$PATH maple -q scriptfile >/dev/null
