Kickoff Meeting of the CRC 951
Hybrid Inorganic/Organic Systems for Opto-Electronics
December 14th - 16th, 2011
Scope
The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft has recently established the Collaborative Research Center 951 focusing on hybrid structures made of inorganic semiconductors, conjugated organic materials, and metal nanostructures with emphasize on their opto-electronic and photonic properties. The workshop is the center’s public kick-off event and intends to present an international forum for discussing concepts and recent research results in the field.
Topics to be covered comprise:
- Synthesis and growth of hybrid structures and their components
- Electronic structure and energy level adjustment
- Optical properties including charge carrier and exciton dynamics
- Opto-electronic/photonic function and devices.
Format
There will be keynote and invited talks from internationally recognized experts as well as contributed Confirmed Speakers
