WiNS Summer School
Light, colors, matter: Why do we see what we see?
The goal of this summer school was to introduce female students and doctoral students with a background in physics and chemistry on the topics of spectroscopy and light-matter interactions by lectures, group activities and discussions.
During the four-day workshop under the direction of Prof. Caterina Cocchi (Dept. of Physics/ IRIS/ CRC 951) and Dr. Zsuzsanna Heiner (Dept. of Chemistry/ SALSA), participants were provided with the basic scientific principles that enable them to discuss fundamental questions like “What are the colors of things?” and “Why do we see what we see?”.
The CRC 951 is proud to be contributor to this Summer School.
